Turiya Masala / Ridge Gourd Masala

  1. Peel Turiya and remove skin.
  2. Make paste of coconut,coriander and green chilly.
  3. Mix Sesame seeds,salt,turmeric powder,coriander cumin powder and sugar in to paste.
  4. Mix properly.
  5. Now do one cut  in Turiya as vertical.

  8. Heat the oil in a pan, add Stuff turiya,stir well,
  9. Allow to cook for 5 minutes on a slow flame.
  10. While simmer put one pan cover with little water on pan so cooking will be done fast.
  11. It saves Gas.
  12. When it is cooked add curd, it gives more flavour to vegetable.
  13. Adding curd,  The taste of Turiya masala become sweet and sour.
  14. Serve hot with Chapati,Roti or Paratha.20140618_092110
