Instructions

Rajma Rice

  1. Soak Rajma in hot water for 3 to 4 hour .
  2. Fresh Rajma beans can be taken as an alternate.
  3. If you take fresh then there is no need of soak.
  4. Cook rajma in pressure cooker by whistling 3 to 4  by adding little salt.
  5. while cooking rice add turmeric powder little bit so it will turn in to yellow.
  6. Boil 4 to 5 tomato , remove skin from tomato.
  7. Blend tomato and make smooth paste.
  8. Heat the pan, add clarified butter ,add cumin seeds , allow to splutter.
  9. Add tomato puree, stir till clarified butter gets seperate.
  10. Add salt,red chilly powder, garam  masala and boiled rajma.
  11. Stir till it gets mix properly.
  12. Mix Cooked rice and home made butter very softly.
  13. Rajma Rice is ready.
  14. It can be served wit warm curd or curry.
  15. Garnish with coriander,curry leaves and lemon slice.
