  1. Soak Yellow Moong dal in water for 2 hour.
  2. Drain moong dal in colander and make smooth mixture in Grinder.
  3. Add salt, sugar, dry chilly powder and Turmeric powder.
  4. Heat the oil in pan, add mustard seeds , allow to splutter.
  5. Pour this seasoning in mixture.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Pour this mixture in idli stand.
  8. Steam this stand in Steamer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  9. Remove from stand this hot and tasty idli.
  10. Serve hot with chutney.
