Kaju , Karela Kismis Curry

Prep Time : 30 minutes. Cook Time : 10 minutes Yield : 3 to 4 person




  1. Peel the skin of Bitter Gourd.
  2. Cut in round shape and remove all seeds from chopped Bitter Gourd.
  3. Sprinkle 1 Tbsp salt and keep aside fro 5 minutes , Squeeze Bitter gourd so bitter part will be vanish
  4. Hit the oil in a pan, add little Chopped and squeeze Bitter gourd, fry them, Remove and keep aside.
  5. Like this fry all chopped Bitter gourd in small quantity in less oil .
  6. Make smooth paste of coriander , green Chilly , Pea nuts and Coconut.
  7. After frying Bitter Gourd if more oil is left out than remove from vessel and if it is around 1 tbsp than keep as it is.
  8. Shallow fry cashew for few seconds , remove , keep aside.
  9. Shallow  fry raisin , remove and keep aside.
  10. Add Bitter gourd , green paste , salt , Jaggery , sugar , Turmeric powder, Coriander- cumin Powder, stir well.
  11. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes so all things mix well .
  12. If needed adjust salt and sugar properly.
  13. Now add Cashew and raisin, mix well.
  14. Garnish with Cashew and Raisin.
  15. It can be served with Chapati, puri and Aam( mango) Ras.
  16. It is good for health and it goes well with Aam( mango) Ras
