Prep Time : 30 minutes. Cook Time : 1h 30 min Yield : 10 to 12




  1. Heat the big pan so we can easily stir all the thing nicely.
  2. Add clarified butter 1 cup,allow to warm, now add edible gum little and allow it to splutter.
  3. If needed add more ghee.
  4. Like that splutter all edible gum little by little on a slow flame.DSC01404
  5. Keep aside this fried gundar/edible gum.
  6. Now add 1 cup ghee and add urad dal  flour ,stir well and continously on a slow flame till it turns in to slightly golden brown colour and start giving out beautiful aroma.DSC01405
  7. Keep aside this mixture.
  8. Now stir well grated fresh milk mawa on a slow flame till it turn in to golden brown colour.DSC01406
  9. keep aside Roasted Mawa.
  10. Now add 1 cup ghee and allow to warm.
  11. Now add whole wheat flour and stir well and continuously  till it turn in to golden brown colour and start giving beautiful aroma.
  12.  Mean while soak almond in water for 15 minutes,remove skin  and get chopped nicely.
  13. Add sooth and pipramol in Mixture,stir well,add half of the chopped almond.DSC01407
  14. Keep aside this mixture.
  15. Mean while we will make sugar syrup.
  16. Take the sugar in one bowl add water in such a manner that only sugar get absorb.DSC01412DSC01413
  17. Now heat this mixture till it become thick and  ' ek tar ' syrup it means with two finger it can be checked that it is one thread syrup  or not.
  18. It will take around 15 minutes.DSC01416
  19. Now everything is ready like fry gundar,roasted flours,roasted mawa and hot sugar syrup.DSC01408
  20. Now take  one deep plate or square mould so we can place hot mixture of gunadr pak.
  21. Mix all the thing like both flour,gundar, mawa,sooth , pipramol and sugar syrup, stir well.
  22. Place this hot mixture in mould and sprinkle Fry gundar and chopped almond on it.DSC01417
  23. After 10 minutes with the help of knife cut the piece but do not remove from mould.DSC01419
  24. Allow to cool for 2 to 3 hour,after that remove very softly and gently with the help of knife one by one.
  25. While removing may be 1 to 2 piece will break but after that all will get done properly.
  26. It is very healthy and in winter it helps to build health for the full year.
  27. As we have used lots of gundar it helps to get away from all muscular problem.
  28. It can be prepared and stored for 15 to 20 days.
