Prep Time : 15 minutes. Cook Time : 15 minutes Yield : 1 to 2



  1. Mix Flour , salt and 1/4 cup ghee well.
  2. Bind with less water to make hard dough.

  4. Now make 3 parts equally.
  5. Make Flat round to cover edge properly.20140514_172803
  6. Roll with roller and make like thick chapati.
  7. Heat the Tava / Flat Pan.
  8. Put Bhakri and roast for a minute.20140514_192915
  9. Now turn on other side and roast till it get turn in to golden colour.20140514_193005
  10. Now turn Again and at the edge put 1 Tbsp ghee and press and Rotate with wooden presser (DATTA) for 1 to 2 minutes.20140514_193143
  11. If Wooden Presser ( DATTA) is not there then it can be done with any flat spatula.
  12. Now Turn On another side and repeat the procedure.
  13. Press and Rotate Till it turn in to Golden Brown colour.

  15. It can be served with any vegetable which is curry type.
  16. Pickle and Kadhi will give more flavour to Bhakri.
  17. It is Very Healthy and Delicious.
